testimonial & tour of transitional style design build kitchen in tustin orange county
Bob and Heidi were referred to APlus by his boss, and we worked with them to create a kitchen that is as beautiful as it is functional. In the original design, the cabinetry was outdated, and there was limited storage space, so a lot of items found their way to the countertops, giving it a cluttered feel. With the old cabinetry, storage space wasn’t being maximized, and many of the corner areas in this kitchen were completely under-utilized.
The original footprint of the kitchen remained, but we worked with Bob and Heidi to design and build all-new custom cabinetry that improved the functionality of their kitchen, and also made it feel fresh and updated. The custom white cabinetry includes an abundance of smartly created storage spaces and there’s even hidden pull-out drawer storage located under the expansive peninsula/bar area. Every inch of the cabinetry provides a useful function.
This transitional design includes a glass subway tile backsplash, adding a modern element in this space, along with gray stone countertops, recessed lighting and artful pendant lights hanging over the bar. Also included in this design is a large farmhouse-style sink paired with an elegant gooseneck faucet and plank tile flooring. The ultimate result is a transitional concept that ensures there’s plentiful storage, much of which is tucked away out-of-sight, along with the use of beautiful finishes and appliances.
