A kitchen, bar and bathroom redesign in anaheim hills with cambria quartz

Before APlus came in to complete the design-build of this Anaheim Hill, Orange County kitchen, it felt heavy, dark and dated. There was nothing outstanding about the design, and the cabinets were standard, while the appliances were mismatched. There was an island in the original design, but it was tiny and included a range with essentially no space for prep or eating. The bulky range hood felt out of place in the design, before the remodel.
After the remodel the space feels transformed. It’s brighter and more. The large overhead vent hood was replaced and instead industrial pendant lights are illuminating an expansive island. The range has been moved against the wall, and it’s accented by the presence of a blue arabesque tile mosaic. The arabesque tile is a nice decorative detail in the space, which overall feels very fresh and crisp thanks to the white, custom shaker cabinetry.
The island is a contrasting wood tone, but throughout the kitchen, a Cambria quartz countertop was used. Unique features of the custom cabinetry include a pull-out stand for a Kitchen-Aid mixer, as well as an added bar and additional cabinet space on what was once an unused brick wall dividing the kitchen and the living area. A separate bar was also added, with wine and glass storage, which makes the ideal place for the Orange County homeowners to entertain. The bar also includes Cambria quartz and custom cabinetry from APlus.
