Kitchen and living room redesign in mission viejo, orange county

Before the remodel completed by Alex and APlus, the Stump family had a living area that feltnot only outdated but also somewhat cramped and closed off. The kitchen had a similar problem, and it was boxy, dark and featured very limited space. Much of Alex’s focus during this Mission Viejo remodeling project was opening these areas up to add functionality, and he also incorporated new windows and doors into the design to bring in natural light.

In the living area, a custom entertainment space was created and set along a corner. Adjacent to this custom wood media center is a custom-built buffet with a stone countertop and storage.

In the kitchen, the design is transitional with medium-tone wood plank flooring, classic off-white countertops, and millwork details are seen in areas such as the custom range hood. The stone countertops are a warm cream, and the expansive kitchen island is topped with butcher block.

This Mission Viejo family says they’re incredibly pleased with the timeliness, adherence to promises, and professionalism they saw throughout this extensive kitchen and living room remodeling project.
