Transitional kitchen and home remodel in san clemente

When San Clemente homeowners Jenny and Brian initially planned to do home updates, they were only considering refacing their kitchen cabinets. After discovering APlus and speaking with Alex, and evaluating what they called a minimal price difference, they decided the best decision would be a complete kitchen remodel, as well as a redesign of their living area and central staircase. The previous kitchen was outdated, with Jenny saying it was about 13 years old. The original design featured honey-colored cabinetry and a monochromatic color palette.

Even with young children, Jenny says there isn’t anything she would change about her San Clemente home remodel. After demolition and a full redesign, the kitchen now includes a fresh transitional design, with custom maple cabinetry in a Swiss Coffee finish. Along with the shaker doors, some of the added upper cabinets are accented with glass panels.

Having a customized kitchen nook and seating space was important to Jenny, so the APlus team worked to conceptualize that in the floorplan, and then make it come to life. In the living area, a stone fireplace and vast hearth were added, as well as a custom, built-in media center. Espresso plank flooring was added throughout, and APlus refurbished the home’s staircase as well. All-in-all Jenny says she can’t say enough good things about her San Clemente home remodel, and that it’s really her dream kitchen.
