Design build transitional kitchen & home remodel fullerton orange county by aplus kitchen

In this home remodel project in Fullerton, our goal was to provide a complete modernization of many areas throughout the property including the kitchen, bathrooms, and living area.

The kitchen is now a beautiful representation of the contrast between light and dark, with light custom cabinetry and a dark, intricately crafted island topped by a slab of thick-cut white stone. Previously there was an unnecessary overhang separating the cabinets from the ceiling, which we removed to extend the new cabinets all the way to the ceiling. The old design also included a beam which interrupted the flow, and we were able to remove that to open up the kitchen even more. The white cabinets are an excellent pairing with the ebony floors, and some of the cabinets include airy glass insets. The space is completed with the inclusion of light green glass subway tile along the backsplash, and high-end Thermador appliances. There’s also ambient under-cabinet lighting.

In the living area, we extended the luxe ebony floors and redesigned the fireplace. We replaced the old stone surround and hearth with sleek white stone, added a custom recessed area for the flat-panel TV and designed and crafted built-ins which flank either side of the fireplace and add not only shelving but hidden electronics storage.

In the master bathroom, we included a custom storage structure, and an arched enclave for the garden tub, complete with a stone surround. Light tile plank floors are throughout the master bathroom in this Fullerton home remodeling project, and there’s a custom double vanity. The look is completed with a glamorous chandelier.

In the second bathroom, we included a light gray vanity, which not only breathes new life into the space but also plays off the gray marbling of the tile. A herringbone pattern on the tile floor adds visual interest to this sleek, bright bathroom.
