Video tour of a traditional style design build kitchen in coto de caza orange county

This is a complete custom kitchen remodel along with addition of new bi-fold doors to open up the space into a beautiful patio overseeing the canyon in city of Coto De Caza Orange County. We’d love to hear your feedback on this kitchen! Homeowner Frank and his wife said they spent a significant amount of time speaking with designers in the area, including several in and around Newport Beach where Frank’s office is located. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to find a designer that would not only bring their own ideas and expertise to the project, but also incorporate the couple’s vision for their kitchen. That’s where APlus came into the picture. Frank says APlus was able to not only deliver a master skill set, but also infuse it with he and his wife’s vision for a true collaboration.

Frank cites many features as being exactly as he envisioned, including the color scheme, the combination of materials and the two-tone hood, which he considers one of the primary focal points of the kitchen. The homeowner also says the lighting concept is outstanding, since he and his wife can use the dimmers to alter the ambiance of the kitchen. The result, Frank says, is perfect, and he couldn’t have imagined working with anyone else to achieve it.

This traditional design includes an eye-catching thick granite countertop, dark wood plank flooring, classic white custom cabinetry and a stacked stone backsplash. The cabinetry includes glass fronts along the wall where the range is located, and industrial pendant lights over the island include just a hint of modern style. The sink is located on the island, and the back wall of the kitchen is comprised of an expansive glass door. The color palette is primarily warm and earthy, centered around rich golds and browns.
