49 – Yorba Linda – Full Kitchen Remodel with custom dining table

We’re proud of every renovation we do, but especially so when they’re as filled with the homeowner’s unique character as this one. The kitchen in this Yorba Linda home was completely overhauled to give it the quaint country charm that is present in the rest of the house. We put in medium brown hardwood flooring to start with, and then built off-white custom cabinets in a U-shaped layout. The cabinets feature beautifully detailed crown molding and dark bronze hardware, as well as ornate carvings on the hood above the stovetop. Some of the upper cabinets have glass panel insets and inner lighting for the display of dinnerware. To bring more light into the already brightened kitchen, we installed an arched window over the farmhouse sink. Gray granite countertops were put in and given beveled edges.

The kitchen’s center island was built out of golden oak, and accented with ornamental posts. It includes small shelves for knick knacks and books, in addition to storage cabinets with sections for spices. The custom dining table is also built out of oak, and given the same granite surface. With the carved posts allowing for ample legroom, there’s plenty of space to accommodate 6 diners come time for supper. Are you interested in improving your own Orange County home with a renovation?
