45 – Yorba Linda – Master & Guest Bathroom Remodel

As the place where you refresh yourself and prepare for the day, the bathroom is one of the most important rooms of a home. This is why every bathroom should be designed for the comfort and tastes of its owner, to be a place of respite and relaxation. In this Yorba Linda home, APlus was called in to update both the master and guest bathrooms according to these ideals. The homeowner wished to have the bathrooms in the same style, a look both traditional and subtly sophisticated. We started our renovation by removing the old flooring and replacing it with large diamond stone tiles in neutral tones. This set the stage for a striking contrast created by the new custom cabinets we built, with a luxe mahogany brown finish, molding details, and sleek dark bronze hardware. The main section has multiple drawers of varying sizes for efficiently storing cosmetics, toiletries, and other items. Above, the his and hers sinks are separated by a tall, handsome cabinet column with crown molding at the top.
We installed mirrors with frames that matched the cabinetry, and affixed them with elegant light fixtures. For the surface, our team put in warm-toned granite countertops, accented by a multi-hued tile backsplash that rises a few inches from the counter level. The new walk-in shower was lined with stones matching that of the bathroom flooring and the counter backsplash. The shower’s own floor was paved with diamond tiles in a darker palette, and the shower bench was surfaced with the same countertop granite.
