Traditional kitchen remodel with custom cabinets in dove canyon

This Dove Canyon home, which sits on the edge of the Cleveland National Forest, originally featured a kitchen with a disjointed color palette and a lack of efficient shelving. There was limited space for storage, and an existing peninsula bar led to an interruption in the flow of the kitchen into the living room.

The challenge of addressing the layout and functionality of the kitchen were a big component of this kitchen renovation. Along with eliminating the original kitchens structures and the bar, the layout of the Dove Canyon kitchen was redesigned to include a U-Shape. Bay windows were added for more light and to enhance the open feeling, while the warm wood custom cabinetry was installed, giving the kitchen a sophisticated, traditional feel. The luxury cabinets feature a Euro & Face frame style with Nadia doors and are the perfect contrast against the Bedrosians granite countertops with a Double Ogee Edge.

Above the stove is a 66-inch custom wood hood, which is the primary focal point of the kitchen, and it’s accented with a Durango tile backsplash. The appliance package features items from the GE Monogram collection, including a 36-inch Professional Gas Rangetop with six burners. Just outside the kitchen is a niche where a high-end wine custom-built wine cabinet reflects the style and design of the cabinetry and includes a GE Monogram Wine Reserve with Liquid Crystal Privacy Glass.
