Located in Placentia, the Wagner House was original build in 1908. Positioned on a stunning half-acre property, the clients of this notable Orange County property wanted to not only design an amazing, updated kitchen, but they also wanted to restore many of the original elements that make the home so unique, including the wood floors.
The custom cabinetry, in a cream color palette, features Shaker-style door fronts, which is indicative of the original Craftsman style of the home. Black soapstone countertops add a dramatic touch, as does the large central island. Stainless steel designer appliances and a professional-quality range replace the once outdated and mismatched appliances, and a custom range hood is the focal point of much of the kitchen.
Other custom elements include a built-in workstation, hidden pantries and storage, and a full-size wine refrigerator. Light gray, glazed glass subway tiles wrap around the entire kitchen, and large windows provide an abundance of natural light in this Placentia kitchen designl. This project represented a full design build with not only a remodel but also a kitchen extension.
