San dimas design build kitchen remodel by aplus interior design & remodeling

Homeowners in San Dimas wished to bring their home into the modern age with a sleek new renovation. Upon learning about our reputation, they asked for our help in remodeling their kitchen, as well as some other features of their abode. To begin, we put in new white molding on the kitchen and living room walls, including the window trim. Coming back to the kitchen, we installed large square stone tiles in porcelain white, providing a light and clean foundation for the rest of the kitchen to be built anew. The owners requested a transitional look, and a layout that allowed for the best use of the space available. Our design team helped them choose an asymmetrical U-shape for the kitchen, and a palette of black, white, and pale gray. Our contractors built streamlined custom cabinets with recessed panels, simple stainless steel handles, and a striking black finish. There are built-in spaces for all of the stainless steel appliances, as well as unique features like pull out cutting board storage and hidden electric outlets. Lightly marbled white countertops were chosen, and a complementary full-height backsplash of narrow stone tiles covers the walls between the upper and lower cabinets.

In the living room, we built a new facing for the fireplace with pale stone and a black mantle. The bathroom was re-floored with the same tiles as the kitchen, and the shower was walled with glossy gray tiles. We also built a custom vanity with mahogany brown cabinetry and the kitchen’s white countertop.
